Right Now

We believe we are fortunate because we have found a niche to perform a value-added service to our favorite type of hard working people- Restaurateurs. We absolutely love restaurants, food, and wine and have created a system to improve accuracy and timely reporting of financial data!

Beginnings

We began as a boutique investment firm in 2005 providing capital to independent restaurateurs. We quickly discovered that specialized accounting services provided to restaurants was very limited. We realized we needed to bring efficiency and ease of access to information into our client's restaurants as a necessity to drive bottom line dollars. 

Sole Purpose

As of 2012, we sold our remaining restaurant assets and began focusing on providing accounting and back office services to a handful of restaurant clients. Encouraged by our previous platform of success, we recognized that most restaurants were suffering from ineffective accounting systems and inexperienced accountants that didn’t understand “the business”. We found many were struggling to keep their own Quickbooks up to date and many managed their cash flow simply based on how much money was in their bank account! 

Advancement

We rebranded as Provident Hospitality Group in 2015. Expanding our model to provide Fractional CFO services, CFO support services, and our standard accounting and back office platform. Our clients were using the entire spectrum of the various software services on the market. We had clients on Compeat, Sage, Peachtree, Intacct, and Quickbooks.

In 2016 we discovered Restaurant365 and quickly built our platform on the foundation that Restaurant365 provides. As they say, the rest is history. Restaurant365 has the complexity of other restaurant specific software systems, but has the ease of use as with Quickbooks. R365 made us faster and more efficient as a firm and permits a significant cost savings for our clients. After all, time is money these days!

Future

For 2020 and beyond, we are excited about the future! We strive to be better today than we were yesterday and are very proud of our clients, our employees, and our partners in this industry!
